Dr Batra is a passionate and highly skilled robotic and laparoscopic surgeon with over 27+ years of experience specializing in gynecologic oncology and minimally invasive surgery (MIS). Currently serving as Associate Director in the Department of Gynaecology, Gynaecologic Oncology, and Robotic Surgery at Medanta - The Medicity, Gurugram, she has dedicated her career to advancing surgical techniques and improving patient outcomes.She has  been a part of Medanta since 2010 and had the privilege of being on the team that performed India’s first robotic gynecological surgery at the hospital. Over the last 15 years, she has successfully operated on thousands of patients, handling some of the most complex gynecological cases with precision and care.Her expertise is backed by specialized training in Gynecologic Oncology from Switzerland University (USI) and Europe, along with advanced training in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) under pioneers in India and Europe. She also  holds a Diploma in Operative Endoscopy from the prestigious European Academy of Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery and a coveted Bachelor in Endoscopy certification from the European Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy.Beyond surgery, She is deeply committed to medical education and research, having authored several medical journals and mentored numerous gynecologists, sharing her knowledge to advance the field of gynecologic surgery.
